Oak and dark blue contrast alcove cabinets with record player plinths. Revamped wardrobes with brand new shaker style doors.

The brief on this one was to create something a bit different for our lovely clients in Penylan. So we went for a bold contrast of solid oak and dark blue and they were up for it.

We were asked if we could allow a space for their record player and amplifier but still keeping the cabinet depth within the chimney line. So we made two oak plinths that extended out from the bookcase giving the record player pride of place.

They wanted to create dedicated space for their gaming equipment and router so we worked with our electrician to bring all of those elements into one section of the bookcase keeping things neat and tidy.

We also revamped their old wardrobes with brand new custom made shaker doors spray finished in pigeon blue. The long Vonsild oak handles were a real winner!
