Skeletal Media Cabinetry Made From Tulipwood, Birch Ply and Fenix

The brief for this one was to create something that didn’t feel too “built-in” so we started by designing with more of a structural approach with floating cabinets which our clients loved. They were keen to match a light timber that their dining table and chairs were made from and we settled on Tulipwood with a bleached finish.

The cabinets are made from birch plywood with mitred corners and there are three different colours of Fenix laminate which gives a nice retro colour pop.

The slimline silicone light strips, which we now use a lot whenever there is integrated lighting, are neatly recessed into the front of the posts and a discreet touch dimmer switch controls the intensity.
